Here it is...
Thanks briosafreak, I feel good now.
Klayhamm, here is what I wanted to post yesterday:
First, that´s what the brushes, I was talking about look like (row 4,5 and 6):

And here is how I (try to) colour my sketches when working with the digital-pad:

Pic 1: The scanned sketch. Duplicate the layer, then create a new layer, fill it with the darkest tone (in this case brown) and put this "dark" layer between the both drawings. Set the upper line-drawing-layer to "multiply" You might as well delete the lowest layer...
Pic 2: That´s what it should look like now.
Pic 3: Select a lighter tone and start to heighten the parts of the face, where light would be.
...Go on like this, choosing always lighter tones and work with them on new layers, in case you mess up something...
I don´t know, if this method works for you, but I seem to get the best results with it so far, though I have a lot of difficulties with finding the darkest and the lightest colour, and with balance and contrast.
So my example is not what it should be, but I´m still practising. I will probably not complete the coloured version, cause I really got a lot of other work to do right at the moment, so here´s my sketch in black and white...could be a sheriff from somewhere in the wastes, Redding maybe?

Peace to all of you, this is a nice forum...
