[font size=1" color="#FF0000]LAST EDITED ON Jan-01-01 AT 06:22PM (GMT)[p]That's GODDAMN GOOD man :)
You sure are far better than me in coloring..
in fact - i could use your help, i think...
I'll contact you
Awsome art!

I really like the sketch...
Even tho the coloring rocks, i do think that you could use some better contrast between the head and the background - for example, more lighting on the head... or something...
Brighter shades...

It still rocks.

UUMMM!! btw ... now i remembered ... - do you participate in www.sijun.com? if not - DO THAT! online digital artists community... it ROCKS, and ur work would probably be admired! :)
Lots of SUPERtalented people to learn from, there !

Here goes my quick try

:)

it's not quite finished, though...

Thanks...

Thank you guys for your feedback! You´re certainly right about the missing contrast, Klayhamm, between head and background. I tried around a little, but got bored and just posted it the way it was. I´ve made another sketch, which I am just colouring right now, but I should go back to work now, so maybe tomorrow...

I´m not yet used to colour with the digital-pad, I mostly do my sketches black and white and colour them with markers, if I colour them at all. But I try to learn.

More soon...and shalom,
Señor DeLuxe

Ahem...

Ahem...sorry..I forgot. I was in a little hurry (and still I am), but it´s good to see a vault-suit again!!! Do YOU look like that?! Oh my god!!! No, seriously: Basically I think, the anatomy is a little too exaggerated, though I like this cartoonish style very much. I´d like to know, what techniques you used and what sort of software (I use Barbie Fashion Designer PRO 8.0). If you use Photoshop, try some different "brushes". I just took black Markers of different sizes (not too wet) and tipped it on a piece of paper -I´m sure, this works with brushes too- scanned it, and added the pictures to the Photoshop-brushes. This was not my idea, I gotta admit. Too bad. And maybe you could try, to build the picture from dark to light instead of vice versa, at least this works good for me, and I know, that a lot of other guys do that too. So, depending, on what program you use, ...ah wait, it´s hard to explain, I´ll make a small series of pics and post it, but I gotta go now, I´ll try to do that tomorrow, ok? I´m really late!

Bye, Señor DeLuxe!

>Brilliant, fu"#$%& brilliant!!!!

Is that meant serious? If yes, thank you, if not...ahem...well thank you anyway.

About Barbie-Fashion-Designer: Somebody suggested, that all those whiny pussy-bitch-fags (like me), should try Barbie-Fashion-Designer instead of FO:T...well, at first I thought, this MUST be a joke, but then I tried it, and now I am really convinced! I would never use something different again!!! Barbie-Fashion-Designer improved my whining-skills more than 350% in just 10 days!!!!

TRY BARBIE-FASHION-DESIGNER NOW !!!

Here it is...

Thanks briosafreak, I feel good now. :)

Klayhamm, here is what I wanted to post yesterday:
First, that´s what the brushes, I was talking about look like (row 4,5 and 6):
http://fallout.gamestats.com/forum/User_files/3a53349a37cec956.jpg
And here is how I (try to) colour my sketches when working with the digital-pad:
http://fallout.gamestats.com/forum/User_files/3a53357a3a83a725.jpg
Pic 1: The scanned sketch. Duplicate the layer, then create a new layer, fill it with the darkest tone (in this case brown) and put this "dark" layer between the both drawings. Set the upper line-drawing-layer to "multiply" You might as well delete the lowest layer...
Pic 2: That´s what it should look like now.
Pic 3: Select a lighter tone and start to heighten the parts of the face, where light would be.
...Go on like this, choosing always lighter tones and work with them on new layers, in case you mess up something...

I don´t know, if this method works for you, but I seem to get the best results with it so far, though I have a lot of difficulties with finding the darkest and the lightest colour, and with balance and contrast.

So my example is not what it should be, but I´m still practising. I will probably not complete the coloured version, cause I really got a lot of other work to do right at the moment, so here´s my sketch in black and white...could be a sheriff from somewhere in the wastes, Redding maybe?

Peace to all of you, this is a nice forum...

RE: Here it is...

Senor, that is some awesome artwork. Thanks for that little tutorial.
Man... I wish I could draw like that.

UHh, is there a reason...

Is there a reason why everyone ignores my picture?
Instead of wondering why you ignore it, i just posted
in a new post...

Um... let's try...

He looks like a cross between Matt LeBlanc and something from the Muppet Show. But I like him!
