Think about your own Pip-boy Screensaver. Kickass , right?
There is no other choice but a "Green Bomb rain" in Fallout2.
I think it's not too diffcult to make more option in Fallout3.
Possibly your Pip-boy has a built in camera that takes pictures of "important" scenes and does a slideshow for you? They'd be concept arts of the scenes and it'd be pretty cool.
