The Planescape: Torment Fixpack is a comprehensive WeiDU Fixpack for Black Isle’s classic Planescape: Torment CRPG. Fixing literally hundreds of bugs and thousands of typos, thereby restoring a lot of lost and inactive content, the PS:T Fixpack (along with PS:T Unfinished Business and Qwinn’s PS:T Tweak Pack) provides a completely new Planescape: Torment experience! Click here for a list of the most important fixes, as well as further information on the mod itself.

Planescape: Torment Unfinished Business takes the almost-but-not-quite-finished content that shipped with Black Isle’s classic Planescape: Torment CRPG and polishes, bugfixes and finishes it so you can see and enjoy the new content in your game! With 14 components in the first release, this mod is a must-have for anyone interested in seeing what the developers didn’t get time to do--or even if you’re just looking for some new content! Click here for information on each of the compenents and further information on the mod itself.

Qwinn’s Planescape: Torment Tweaks adds a few ease-of-use tweaks to your Planescape: Torment install, as well as one or two must-have components! Including a banter accelerator, ease-of-use tweaks and several content changes, this is an extremely useful mod for any player. Click here for information on each of the compenents and further information on the mod itself.

Saw this on RPGcodex and downloaded it.

So the holy trinity of RPGs are being patched and tweaked.
This is the best RPG year EVARR!

It's too good to be true.
Arcanum fix'd, Torment fix'd, Fallout fix'd- I don't believe it.

ow fuck it... re-installing as soon as i'm done playing The Witcher (which really isn't that interesting imo)

I wonder if they fixed all the bugs and oddities I reported to Platter for his fixpack.

morte as easter egg rocks ><
if you dont run the resolution patch already, you might give it a try. i run it with 800/600, which is satisfactory (inventory etc are not that much screwed up, movies running in fixed resolutions still cover most of your screen). PST looks AWESOME in a bit higher resolutions.

edit: is beta, up til now no errors, youll have to start anew or will encounter many crashes.

edit2: for <strike>great justice</strike> even more convenience: (no cd flipping any more)

The problem I have is that there's so much more opportunity if you crank up your wisdom/intelligence so I ALWAYS play mage. I might start anew, use a character editor to crank those values up, and then play as a different class :).

I think the reason all these fix projects are being completed is gamers crave real RPG's, and since FO3 doesn't appear to be one, they're returning to the classics.

that by itself is an old trend. i watched the reawakening of a lot of old games, often in connection to the publication of their respective sequels or similar games. (system shock 2 > bioshock, pst > drakensang). i love the fact that so many people are still devoting time and effort to those great games. and pst is such a milestone... i guess we will still replay it in another 10 years time (it is, beside its great story, graphically motivating enough compared to those REALLY old games )

Hello all :) Glad some of you are trying out my mods :)

Per, I noticed this thread a long time ago, but I had no idea what buglist you were talking about (that you'd sent to Platter), and I figured you'd get it to me if you read the buglist and thought I missed much. Today, someone posted the list on my forum, and even though I did catch quite a few of them, there were indeed quite a few things in that list I was unaware of. Good stuff.

I went through it in Word, made notes on each item in your list, indicated which ones I intend to follow up on, etc. If you're interested, grab the .doc I attached to this post, and let me know what you think or if anything I said "No change needed" to was actually a bug.

If I don't see a post from you there, I'll check back in here in a few days.
