planescape torment mods

I played planescape torment a few years back. As most of the fallout fans did enjoy this game I was eager to try this game as well. Well....The story was awesome and very it was very fun to play.

After finishing the game I went searching for some ps:t mods. At that time no big mods where dome yet. I remember a mod called ps:t vengeance being in progress. It seems to be dead. Does anyone has info on this mod or know some other interesting mods for ps:t

The only mod I've ever heard about was a bugfix one that mainly dealt with inaccurate weapon/item properties and some broken dialogues. I don't think anyone has ever really seriously attempted anything else for the game since it's not very moddable and Baldur's Gate II has the same engine with a pretty much complete modding toolset for it.

I'm replaying it now using Platter's fixpack, which does a very good job at squashing bugs (I've found a few remaining ones though). What I'd like is a mod that makes it so that Chris Avellone retroactively wrote the dialogue for areas done by not very competent - or not very involved - writers. I didn't see any signs of mods when I searched for editors and bugfixes.

PS. The diagram in the RPG thread? Trueness.

Yer, I'm also replaying it ATM and enjoying it (of course). There are some things that would deserve some sort of filler mod though, some places/personae that weren't used to their full potential (I've always been intrigued by the basement in the Brothel, for example).

On existing mods:
PS:V is indeed dead and has been for quite some time now.
For other mods, look at Bootstrike, which has what think is the most complete collection of PS:T links, trivia and files.
Be sure to try out Platter's Fix Pack and the Restoration Pack (by Ash, I think). The Fix Pack doesn't add anything though, only solves some shit. The Restoration Pack implements things that were left out of the game.

Still a damned shame that there aren't more major mods for the game; or more games like it for that matter...
