Play FI after endgame

Are you supposed to be able to play Fallout I after you beat it? If yes, would me geting the 'childkiller/berzerker/bloody mess' ending have anything to do with me not being able to?

Nope, you are unable to continue after FO1... And no matter what perks and the like you may have, you may not continue.

There's no way to do that in Fallout 1; Even if you cheat the game and combat-run to the map, the game will end as soon as you enter a town.

However, there is a mod that enables that; Please don't discuss it here, though, as this forum is about default official versions only.
