Nice job man, but I am affraid to say that home mods are pretty much useless. Player needs a place where he/she can store goods and sleep, that's all. No need to make epic houses for that, you won't be spending more than 10 minutes in the house in your playthrough anyway.

That's what always pisses me off in Bethesda's games - the urge to make player houses. Sandbox, open-world game is about *not* sitting in one place most of the time, so why bother?

yeah i know what you mean. it is a bit boring down in the fortress. maybe i could add a quest where everyone in megaton seeks shelter in my fortress to fight off hordes of evil things.

The main thing I'd want in a house mod is something to have it make a wee bit more sense.

Mainly a proper suite in Tenpenny and a double bed in megaton so the upcoming sex and romance mods would work in your house

I added a download link.

Do you think I should make a custom bed?

I think alot of people make house mods so they can get use to using the tools. Some go way overboard and add way to much stuff.

I do agree with what Ravager said too.

Unless your house is in the bottom of some mega dungeon and you added in a nice weapon cache or something similar no one is really gonna get it just for the house. Unless there going after the custom railway gun or to check it out in the G.e.c.k.

I agree, though on the side note, I didn't mean that Prosper wasted his time. I think that this mod could be better if he'd turn it into a set of easy-accesible safe houses with a few lockers and a bed, with some nice decoration theme to differ one from another. This would make it a lot practical and popular.

I think it would be fairly cool if raiders or mutants attacked your fortress (if it's in the middle of the wasteland or something).

One of the parts I liked about Fallout 3 was when the mutants attacked Big Town. It was mildly amusing.

I would like it if mutants, slavers, raiders, robots, talon company, wanabee vampires, and creatures would attack more towns in general. It would give the world a more dynamic and alive feel.

Off-topic a bit, but in my playthrough I had a situation when a Yao-Gui (or however they are named) followed me into Big Town. Of course, I haven't noticed it and entered the building with that unconsious guy. When I walked out, the Yao Gui already slaughtered the whole town (4 people) and I saved the game unfortunatly (the only save game I had, quicksave). Of course the autosave was overwritten when I walked out from the building, so the Big Town questline was efficienlty cut off from me x]
