Playing as Mutant

First time out of the vault
Anybody working / have a mod of this being possible, eventually a command in console, to actually change your body to a Mutant ones? Or by playing around in some text files of the game or something, anything!

I just want to play as a mutant! it would be cool!
 
It'd need some scripting and new first-person hand models for instance, I doubt we're getting one anytime soon
 
are all doors big enough for super mutants to get through? e.g. doors in sewers? If not maybe you could be a short super mutant ;)
 
You could probably be able to edit the system that allows you to play as your younger self to instead load up as a ghoul model/skin.

Either this or an edited ghoul mask item.

actually I'm not sure crouching makes your bounding box any smaller, at least it doesn't seem to have helped a couple of times when I got stuck on tipped-over bookcases.
 
Eh, that's true.. at least, when I've tried to crawl under some pipes it doesn't seem to work.. Mind you though, it must at least decrease its size a little bit, otherwise crouching behind objects wouldn't do much good.

I think the getting stuck and the pipes are just yet another example of Bethesda failing to produce satisfactory results in a final release. I still get vexed at the 'invisible walls' that stop me from making easily performed shortcuts. Or the fact that for some reason I can't jump while standing on certain cliffs all because I'm standing in some particular place.
