for some reason ideas are just spewing out of me tonight....
anyway...
Many have raised the question: when will FO3 take place? If Interplay decides to tack on another 80 years between FO2 & FO3, then that will have been 240 years since the bombs dropped. I tend to agree with those that say that society would have probably stabalized dramaticly in that time. The chances for adventure in the wasteland would be almost gone. BUT! since the civilizations of the world would be expanding... they would certainly come into conflict again. Lets say that the NCR and the... uh.... United People's Republic of Canadian Militias, or the New COLORADO Republic, or whatever get into another (probably smaller scale) nuclear war. just enough to give the game that good ole' 'post apocalyptic' feel back.

It could be done by having shifting climates... There is bound to be lots of fallout left in the atmosphere... why not just have it eventually shift in the jetstream and start to fall over the sunny californian coast line...

Okey so just because we move to another part of California things get more primitive? Just because a hero have saved a town in nortern CA it doesn't meen that that town will be primitive. I agree that there could be a "small" nuclear war maybe between NCR and an alliance between New Arroyo and the BoS.
-kilroy was here-

Long live NCR!

No! Don't fight against NCR! Or I'll have to betray Arroyo and finally kill Elder!!! (Can't wait...) ;-)
And, how do you think, Arroyo or BoS get nukes? I don't think nuclear weapons were a part of GECK nor could BoS invent any (they have too few people for that).
I have a superb plot idea (at least I think so) but I'll tell it a bit later.
