So Old I'm Losing Radiation Signs
Basicly, we play 2 tribals from arroyo. We get the GECK quest a few days/weeks after the chosen one. Basicly, we wreak havoc and follow the trail of the chosen one. It allows a plot that is well known yet new.You get to see the aftermath of the chosen one's adventures.

(We all getr vault 13 suits, since the vault dweller setteled arroyo with OTHER vault 13 people, which means more than 1 vault suit.)



[crude example] Party goes into Navaro place is trashed, free weapons all over.

it depends on what those that join what to have had happen, as long as it follows FO2 as far as what is allowed.

No.

I mean, there's so much that wouldn't work, that could only happen once. The oil rig, for example. Or the Vault 13 encounter. It just wouldn't work.
 
Not sure if I agree but I don't think I would do it. It might be interesting in that you do have a story plot to follow, a setting established, and a larger back story already created. This would make the role play more interesting.

One could also do this in Fallout 1 as the overseerer has lost faith in the vaultdweller to find the water chip and sends out a couple of the malcontents.

And folks, I kind of agree with PS on this one, being constructive would help. While I will agree that PS's contributions on Lone Wanderers might have raised some ill feelings, lets put that behind us.

I agree with Maverick, some of the settings just wouldn't work. The oil rig or Navarro. There would also be the problems of who's Fallout 2 game are you exactly following.

But these problems could be overcome.
 
Oil rig wouldnt ever be gone to, chosen destroyes it.
Navaro would be either dead and lootable, or unaffected in case if a stealth plot.

I like Welshes Idea for FO1, the Malcontents.

for the FO2 one, maybe have some Inteligence 3 or lower people ? could be funny.

Anyway, post more of what you would like.
 
Well, honestly, I think it'd get boring and lame. I want you to create a story for the RP that'll grab me. And if you do, Hell, I'll rp with you, but that intro has got to get me hyped...which isn't easy!
 
Psycho, I suggest that if you want this RP to start, you get organized. First off, you'll need players. Being the creator, you'll be their guiding light. But a RP can't really start without players. Personally, I'm not really interested and most of the others aren't either. However, there's bound to be people who'll play. Advertise a little (but nothing blatant like going into the General Discussion board and saying, "Who wants to join a new RPG in the Roleplaying Board?".
 
I would only need myself, plus 2-4 others.
Arroyo is a small village, so it couldnt affoard to send many more out.
Main characther-decent avg characther
1-2 stupid characthers
1-2 people from the wastes (maybe have a brotherhood iniatiate that deserted, or was kicked out)
basicly, have a group of losers that follow the Chosen one's trail. This is meant to be a comic relief RP. The people praticapating vote on which plot courses the chosen one takes, since that affects the location.

Now, I have to say I'm not interested myself, but honestly, I don't see the use of coming in here and saying "no" to PS. Simply because this doesn't need to have anything to do with you if don't want a part of it.

So, PS, do whatever you want in a seperate thread, and I like the idea, but try to flesh it out a bit more and give it atmosphere.
 
I'm trying, but since I'm new to RPing I'm trying to get others to join in for the fun and to give advice.
