First time out of the vault
Hi! I need some help..!

I want Sulik and Vic to use a Power Armor..

But where do I get one? The merchant in San Fran got one, but I killed her to get it in the early start...

Is there any other place to find one?

I know/think the Enclave base got some.. but thats in the end of the game, I want to have one now =)

Thanks !

Again, reading the topics marked "read before posting" would help a lot. ;)

As to where you should put your Fallout questions, it depends on the type of question. If you have a question related to playing the game, situations you encounter in the game and such, you should put those questions in the "Fallout RPG Gameplay & Tech discussion" board, while questions and discussions about the Fallout universe (eg. "Why do the games take place on the west coast") should be put in General Fallout Discussion.

More specifically, you learn where Navarro is by speaking to Matt (the BOS guy, he'll give you a mission to go there) or the Shi or Hubologists, but Matt is the easier one to get, 'cos he's just stood there and there are no preceding missions as there are with the other two.

***ANOTHER SPOILER***

you also learn the location of Navarro from Haukonin(or whatever his name was) when you talk to him after the village was attacked.

Btw, a Friend told me u can get an Enclave PoweArmor (Who looks much better than BOS's) ..
He said its hidden somewhere in SanFran ..
Anyone know where?

Your Friend is confused, or you got him wrong. There are two advanced suits of power armour in the game, and none of them is what I would call hidden.

Power Armour Meld...

So a long time ago a friend of mine told me, that his Power Armor in Fallout "melded" with his body. He could wear another set of armour and gain additional resistances. I know it's true, because I've seen the save game (I don't have it to back my words though) .

I haven't been able to pin-point the exact moment when that happened. In fact, I'm only 95% sure it was Fallout 1 and not 2. My memory is tainted ...

Anyway, I would have forgotten about this. but a while ago Jargo programmed a script for New Arroyo Mod that was to be used for upgrading armour - to give a guy a combat armour and receive a combat armour mk2.

After I approached the scripted critter wearing the combat armour on my back, I went through the dialogue, and when I looked in the inventory, I found I'm not wearoing any armour, my inventory contains a combat armour mark 2. And - I have all the combat armour resistances! I could wear another armour and they all added up.

So it's possible and it's a scripting fault... The only script where you upgrade armour in FO was the Miles quest, so the glithc must have been there... Does anyone have a similar experience or some other relevant data? Is there a script in FO that may sometimes fail when upgrading Power Armor?

If you were talking FO2 I'd say it sounds more like the dermal implants scripts, I certainly have never come across anything like it with Power Armour in either game.

Using the Fallout 2 inventory editor while wearing armour can cause changes to your "naked" resistances. Don't know what would cause it in Fallout, though.

I don't know if this helps, but if it's unrelated, I'm sure that Grandmaster Per can explain it away. 8) Once, in New Reno, I had gotten the hintbook off the priest, and I was using it to level up mindlessly. Marcus gained a level, so I looked at his interface to see what he was at. I can't remember exactly what happened, but either he just showed up with it, or I had to press the "Equip best armor" button, but he ended up wearing an Advanced Power Armor MKII. I have no idea if this stacked with his existing bonuses or what, but I believe he did have significantly improved resitances. I don't recall if he could be commanded to remove it, but I don't think he actually ended up with one in his inventory.
