Starseeker

Vault Senior Citizen
I did some reaserch after reading the interview with Chris Avellone by Vault 13, concerning the FO bible. And guess what? This thing is not that far away from us, check it out:

Is it just me or doesnt that quote under your name make any sense at all? Maybe if it was "The final barrier to freedom is ones unwillingness to face...". Or maye "The final price of freedom is the nececity to face....". Willingness cant be used as a price in this context because its a positive and makes it read as if you WANT to do somthing, which Im assuming is wrong? Sorry, Ive just been sat here for 15 mins reading it over and over because it didnt quite sound right to me...

?????

I don't understand what you mean, anyway, if you are interested in a more personal communication, shouldn't you e-mail me instead?

This isn't exactly a reply to me post, is it?

Still, I thought some of the FO veterans might be interested in reaserch like this. I guess I was wrong.

No you weren`t. By a series of coincidences people seem to be extremely busy at this time, so there`s the reason you aren`t getting many replies, nor there have been many posts generaly. I don`t have the time to watch it thouroughly now, but from what i´ve seen it`s a pretty good research, thanks and congrats.

RE: Oh, my G#D!!

Someone actually read this post!!!!

I think I am going to go dance in the snow storms naked now! Yeah!! :D:D:D

Anyway, thanks for the comment, I was begining to think the fun, intelligent, and witty FO veterans around here lost their touch. Anyone got any idea how to contribute these kinds of info to the FO Bible? I just read the first draft, and it's looking good so far. I can't wait to see any new developments.

BTW, it is snowing like coke cola on ice outside my window.

Uh..., anyone got four wheel drive? Otherwise I might get stuck here at office for a while. Oh, well, I guess I can try to finish my FO2 the 20th time once more. :D

If anyone know how I can give some of this info to contribute to the FO Bible, please let me know, I'll be very grateful.

RE: Oh, well

wow that was pretty neat. a strap on robot that aids you in lifting. it looked a little big and clunky, but i guess power armor does the same. i'll be sure to buy me a pair when its released in 2-3 years, and with a little tinkering i'll be lifting cars =]

RE: Hmm

Did you read the first link on the first post? That reaserch is done by reaserchers at Unversity of Cal. at Berkley. That model is designed for army use, I wonder which one will make the first production model.

RE: Oh, my G****D!!!

:DNo, it isn't a legal profanity, but I felt so overwhelmed by joy and emotion when someone reply to that post, I thought it must be profanity. :D

Funny how this is turning out, because I leave for a week and I got 4 replies to post, so maybe I should leave more often. ;-)

Anyway, thanks a bunch for the info on where to post. This is the only FO site that I visit the most, therefore in the famous words of CA - "No favoritism is implied in the listing of these websites, except for No Mutants Allowed, which is my favorite site, bar none." (Chris Avellone in his last update to the bible):) I usually don't even post in other sites because of all the beautiful people here (hey, it was grammy last night, too much "gala" words rubbed off on me, lol:)) who shield me from rumors, ego-problemo FPS, wrong facts about FO, untrue news about FO3, good files and walkthroughs(hi, Per"fect" :)), and just plain stupid people.

Well, enough sucking, let's get talking.:D I have to ask, besides Zuger, and briosafreak, who else read any of the links above? It's ok to skip the molecular ceramic chemistry and principles of fusion though. That's usually too technical for most people. The powered armor reaserch is very cool though, just think of the possibilities!! Imagin picking up one of these babies in your local radio shack(joke) as a gift for your mother's 80s birthday, so she can still lift that old cast iron frying pan and her old 1968 pink torpeto cadie. LOL:D Or, "Honey, check out this new gadget I got!! You'll never need me to move the couch or to take out the trash ever again!!". LOL:D

Before I move alone, the freezing story was true, that's why I had the time to dig up some of these stuff, and we did snow like the north pole here.(being high altitude doesn't help) Oh, let's not forget, do I need to register for those sites to post and which section should I post? Does the big Moai CA answer his e-mails? How do I stand out as a non-spammer?

That's all, folks.

This must be a set-up !

I try to follow one of those links at the top, and my internet connection dies. Funky thing is that the damn thing refuses to send me those pages you found but does finds the time to load the page for a reply... Weird.

RE: Starseeker:

Just lurk a bit before you post, you`ll learn the rules fast.

Oh and Ceaser, no doubt we have to blame those damn communists :D

(guys, don´t take this literaly, it´s a private joke that only Ceaser will understand)

RE: Starseeker:

Sure, no problem.:)

Sorry, they changed the link.
