What's your favorite printer? .....er.....no that's not it

I have a printer between my two computers with a usb and a regular parallel port.
Could i plug it into the two computers using the two ports or am i just looking for trouble.
Other solution these two computers are networked and right now i share the printer between the two, wich is a bitch when the one hosting the printer is not turned on.

Funny enough, I have just bought a nre printer on Sunday last. I is a HP Deskjet 5552. It's fuckin' brilliant, and it prints photo quality pictures. My old printer was a Lexmark 1100, and it was a slow piece of crap, and the ink cartiages were very expensive, up to €45 (about the same in US Dollars). My new HP printer uses a USB wire, but the Lexmark used a parallel port.
