pro_items.msg where???

were is it they say its ziped in this zip file but it aint there they also say you can get it out'a the master file i dunno how to do that, finnaly they say its on PB 2000 LE but i can't find. so any help would be good. sorry i'm an incompitent(sp).

If it's a DLL you probably need to download MSVBVM60.dll

And the docs are coming soon, but my web ISP has turned off all scripts so I'm stuck on the site (that's why the news isn't showing up etc)

Umm, are you using DatExplorer or DatMan? I don't remember DatMan having that error (I mean, that "error has occured" text).
Try extracting it to another folder.

i have tried extracting to another folder(doesn't work) and i am using DatMan.

That is very weird, though...

Hmm, does it just say "an error has occured"? And when does that error pop ups? Also, did you tried extracting any other file/folder?
Do you have enough hd space, right? :)

How much space do i need?

and the error message pops up when it has started to extract to a directory.
 
Finally got it! but.......

got no .pro files tried using datman didn't work. I got 435 megs free space is that enough? i searched for files and folders and it came up with a couple in the proto/items folsder but it says that they are "not .pro file type" and the last one is the car trunk. so help would be good. cheers!

Ummm? It says "not .pro file type"??! What are you trying to do? Did you select the folder or the file, and clicked on the "Extract" button in the window's bottom?

they were files i found in the fallout folder under proto/items. When I try to extract(with datman) from master.dat it does and says the same as when i tried to extract the pro_itmes.msg.

Try downloading this file:

http://clanfusionn.hypermart.net/tms/files/zlibtool.zip, put it on your DatMan directory. I hope this fixes everything although it should work perfectly...

Do you have any program that stops users from mess with your system configuration or something weird like that?

not sure about the question. but it lets me extract them now, guess what.... ...there is another problem, it says that in fime when i go to open next to all the pro file(were the description is) "not .pro file type" and evry single one nearly is like that. you can't open them or anything. it's really screwie.
