Problem again?

I think Odin still remember last time i post this thing.
About no random encounter when playing FO2 in AMD. Well suddenly all change when i replace my 1 GHz AMD with a brand new 1,33 GHz 6 month ago (my old one were stolen...sob...sob...) and all return to normal thing. And when i reach Den i already got FN-FAls and Hunting Rifle (thought luck. Met some Den Caravan in Encounters and they fighting a Highwayman.) But somehow in Big Fat Mama this thing still happens.

About that stat's, i think that's not the problem. Both BFM and me try our "Superman" with all 10 Stat's and all 300% skill. Well still happened.
Then i lend my Fallout CD to BFM and patched it with 1.1 version. Still don't work. But BFM is the only guy i know got this problem. Then yesterday i called him and say: "Try walking from Arroyo to Navarro. You'll met some Enclave guy." And he reply: "I didn't met any Enclave." heh...heh...heh... poor guy.

Anyway do anyone know anything bout it?
Oh yeah: the BFM think this is happened because of the MMX setting of the AMD processor. The only way is to turn the MMX features off. But i think nope! Perhaps this is about the mainboard.
Oh yeah BFM use Elite K7VZA and me using K7S5A (other guy use that also and no problem with the latter...)

Your help will be appreciated....

I really can't see that the processor could affect random encounters in Fallout, and "Try walking from Arroyo to Navarro. You'll met some Enclave guy." did you ever stop to think why it's called random encounters.....

Yeah. In my machine when i walk from Arroyo to Navarro i must met Enclave troops. Anyone also did. But Big Fat Mama didn't. Is this normal? Hey we use Super man. In fact Big Fat Mama now play Fallout without encountering any Random Encounters!!! Even he finished caravan guard mission without met anyone in his way. This a bit odd. He even stuck in 18th level and never goes up.
I dunnoo Odin. Random Encounter in his machine seems like "No Encounter guys... Sorry...". Well he try his old machine and things back to normal. He try in my machine (same AMD but differs M-board) and things are normal.
Hey Odin, why the screen seems wrong I can't see what you write above....

Probably just coincidence, since random encounters are based on luck, and also probably a certain procentage in certain areas.

Sounds truly strange to me, can't really see that this should affect the game. Since a different Motherboard wouldn't change the code in Falllout..

huh ?

i believe this is not a coincidence. It's keep happen and happen and happen again. Then why this don't happen in mine? Do you ever going through this? No encounter while playing Fallout?

Nope, well are you using the same save game ? the same character, the same stats and everything ?
Because it doesn't make sense for a motherboard to influence the mechanics of a game..
