Problem playing Fallout 2

I played Fallout some time ago without any problems.

Now I thought I started playing again but it dropped right after the intro, before the menu comes.

So I uninstall, but when I wanted to reinstall the installer only gave a black screen.

So I install it manually, still same problem.

I try some compatibility options, no succes.

I download and install the patch : even worse, now it even starts with a black screen.

I download and install the unnoficial patch : It stops working after the intro before the menu again.

I try to run it on Windows 7 which used to work just fine before. Can anyone help me?

My trial version of Win7 expires soon...box said 10 june but whatever.

I'm going back to Vista as XP wont work on my system (fuck me lol).

I hope that Fallout 2 will work again when Im on Vista xD

No single driver will be recognized when I use XP, with XP I have no video, no audio, and no internet. No matter what drivers I install.

So crappy slow Vista it is

Atleast Fallout 2 is working now, I hope I get the wasteland merc mod to work too

Feel free to start a thread in the Gaming and Hardware forum for help on installing XP on your system.

And use the Search function dammit, peopl! Don't start new threads on topics covered elsewhere.
