Problem with 1.3.4 patch (solved)

Blackened

I should set a cutom tite
I have a problem with the 1.3.4 patch - I can't see any children in Shady Sands, and there should be (expecially one with a BB gun and some with rocks in their stealable inventory), according to the nearly ultimate guide.

The patch says that the children should be enabled. And I think it's working, since using the terminals from Vault 13 displays the experience given - according to the patch notes, it's displayed only in the 1.3.4 patch.

I mean, I don't want the children animations from Fallout 2, in my game there aren't any children at all (or at least in Shady Sands).

Can you tell me that the problem could be? I checked for the children at some time in the night and at 12:00 during the day.

I am currently playing with the 1.3.4 patch, and i have no such problem, the children are where they are supposed to be...

The patch enables the children but it doesn't come with the children animations, so...perhaps the fallout 1 version you're using is one of those that doesn't have children in them?

The 1.3.4 or rather the 1.2 patch from TeamX enables the children in the .exe file, but it does not come with the children animations. For this you need the F1 Child Patch, install only the data folder but not the falloutw.exe (this would undo the changes from the TeamX patch).

Again, I do not need the children animations. My problem is that there aren't any children at all.
I am not quite sure what the exact problem is, but if the animations are not present, you will not see any children. The animations are what makes critters appear in the game (not just makes them move around)

I installed it (over my current installation) with some installer. It actually included children animations, but I don't mind, because now there are children in Shady Sands. My problem is fixed.

Though they have about 70 rocks in their inventory, I'm not sure if this is present in the original game. But I don't mind. Thanks for the help, anyway.
