First time out of the vault
Alrite, first the technical crap, v1.02 of fallout2, windows2k, 90 meg installation.
Basically in a substantial proportion of doorways, as far as i can tell, the building is slightly out of synch with the grid, blocking the doorway.My party, and NPCs seem to be able to get through without problems.
The ones ive found are in Gecko, in the building labeled with "managers office", a house in trapper town, the entrance to the inner room at vics place, and a bunch of houses in Modoc.
There are probably more.The blockage to Vics inner room is the biggest problem because(Hilarious word replace you've got here
) i can't get the radio crystal.
Possibly related bugs: spore plants seem to crash the game when they attack, altho there have been one or two exceptions (i think they targeted my party), both intro movies hang after a few seconds (skipping w/ spacebar works though), and the beggining movie (in a new game) also hangs.
I can live with those bugs though, its the doorway block thats fucking me over.
Any workarounds, fixes, things to try would be appreciated, if i've forgotten some details, ask.
