Problem with Fallout 2 on a mac

Hi there, I'm new to NMA,

I'm using Fallout 2 with Mac OS 10.2.3, and I've applied the most recent patch available, update 1.02a from a mac gaming site (can't remember which...). I've got plenty of memory, G4, etc.

This is a non-crucial problem, but when I exit the game, I get a black screen, and the only solution I've found is to reboot the computer. I was wondering if anyone else has this problem?

A solution would be even better!

I would say get a new videocard... I put fo2 on a mac at school a few years ago and it worked out great... it was one of those darkish blue ones with exhaust fans.
