Problem with Fallout 2 trainers

(sorry if I make some gramnmatical error, I'm not english)
I am playing at Fallout 2 and I took too many super stimpak, so I always die.
I want to use the trainers to survive,to go in a city and to buy some stimpak, but the trainers doesn't function.
I start the trainer, then I start the game, then I click on Freeze health, then I close the trainer and return to the game, but it doesn't function.
Maybe could be the italian patch, but I'm not sure.

I don't know anything about those trainers, since I've never used them, but if you want to add extra stimpaks (or anything else for that matter) to your inventory, you can try this editor: http://www.nma-fallout.com/downloads.php?do=file&id=1331

That should do the trick.
