problem with Miria Mod...

he everyone i have problem with Miria Mod, well i just did everything like in readme file, that comes in archive with the mod, and the thing i cant get to work is to make Miria to wear Energy Weapons, i also cant make her to wait as well, the only thing i get is LevelUp system, please help me what i should do to make it fixed...

...oh seems like i found out what a problem is...i'm running 1.02 version of the game, so to make it work right i need to patch it to 1.05, but problem is i dont have 1.00 version of the game that's the first, and the second is i'm from Russia and ofcourse i prefer russian language of the game, question - is there 1.05 patch , but russian version ? (any russians on this forum), thats not i'm saying i cant understand English or something, but game is much more enjoyable with those translation from Fargus...

AFAIK, nope.

i'm running 1.02 version of the game, so to make it work right i need to patch it to 1.05
Miria mod is designed to work with 1.02d therefore you are wrong.

I bet you have not prepared your Fallout properly. Patch000.dat should be unpacked and deleted before installation of any mods.
 
...but in that case i cant use modrunner anymore, i tried to do how you said, but everytime i try to launch the game with modrunner it says cannot save the patch000.dat...i just want to keep modRunner working...
...the glitch with generous klint mod also happens...its when i first load my game running acklint.dat with modrunner program, after that
i save game and exit, and when i try to load my game normally (without modrunner) it gives me an application error or something like that...
 
Not sure if the Mirira's mod is compatibly with modrunner. I'd suggest to proceed with manual install. Also not that most of the Fallout mods are not compatible between themself. So, if you'll try to install two mods at the same time exepct buggy behavior.
 
the strangest thing is once i dont remember when, i managed to get all of my favourite mods work at once with modRunner program and everything was right, oh and Miria Mod worked well then also, so this part is a bit confusing...well i'm downloading now Offcial Fallout 2 1.0 version from torrent, lets see if it changes things, if not i'll try to patch game to 1.05...
 
Usage / Installation

Inside the archive, you will find this document and two directories : 'Interaction' and 'Levelup'. The two are independant of each other - if you want one but not the other, fine.

To install, simply copy the contents of the directory you wish to install directly into your "Fallout2/Data" game directory.

Whatever you install, make sure that the copied files are marked "READ ONLY" - right-click the files, and check the read-only checkbox. For those inclined to do so, you will find it easier using ATTRIB from the commandline. Doing this ensures that Fallout won't nuke these modifications during runtime. I think this only applies to PROTO files, but I could be mistaken... better safe than sorry.

Note that the 'Interaction' part already includes a version of the B-Team code, so if you install that AFTER this MOD, do NOT overwrite MCMIRIA.INT.

just as i said earlier i did everything like readme says, and yes i marked all of critter files as read-only, as i might understand those files contain info on LevelUp system and Miria upgrading stats, but my problem is not exactly that, as i said i managed to get LevelUp system work, i just cant make Miria Equip any weapon, but Knifes ...even though when she reaches her max level, she has 120 HP, 12 AP, 310 Weight all that with Advanced Power Armor Mk2 equiped, but she cant equip any weapon but, knifes :|

...YAHOOOO finally i've got this mod to work properly, well atleast it began to work when i installed B-team mod, after that it became possible for Miria to equip Energy weapons...so this topic can be closed now...
