Problem with the resolution patch

I just started playing Fallout 2 again and was looking for some patches that improve the game, i found the resolution patch on this website, i increased the resolution to 1280*1024, it seemed to work great but when i entered the temple everything was black except for the character, is this normal? Does the patch only work on outside areas?

Sounds like a corrupt set of graphics. Did the mouse cursor leave traces?

try dropping the resolution down.

Do you have any other mod loaded?

I had the same problem with The Temple, NCR, Vault City and some other locations. I've tried different resolutions without any modifications but the problem still remains.

But I'm not using this patch anymore, with resolution 1280x1024 everything is so small

Its not really a patch, its a hacked exe file, one of the guys went into the exe with a hex editor and found the resolution could be changed.
