Problems with new weapon mods I made. Need help to fix it.

I recently messed around in nifskope and blender and made two weapon mods. I thought everything was going good and well before I got it into the G.E.C.K and got in the game to see if they worked. I admit that I have no experience when it comes to making mods and I spent hours on these two mods. I cant pick up my energy revolver type weapon I made and the modified service rifle I made is floating away from my character and one part of it is de-tached. I don't know what went wrong. Can you help me fix this at all?

Is this Fallout 3 or New Vegas you're modding? I can try to help you, but only if it's New Vegas. It sounds like you missed the part that will let the game know where the character's hands should grab your weapon.

This is New Vegas. I have one of the weapons at Camp Golf and another at Gun Runners. Another thing is that in blender and nifskope my energy weapon I mentioned is tilted for some reason. When I put the nif file into the geck it is titled and also in the game it is tilted. Thats another thing I have no clue how it happened.

Nifskope is tricky, I only barely got the hoverboard working with it.

I had used the first half of that video where he uses blender as a sort of tutorial to get me into using blender. The first weapon I ever made I didn't have to do anything with nodes. I'll have to watch that again but from seeing the other half it looks to me like he has a collision mesh when he brings it into nifkope. Will I have to make my own collision mesh?
 
You cannot create your own collision mesh, it is a proprietary Havok/Bethesda format. You'll have to open an existing weapon mesh and use that. Just replace the model with your own. If I recall it correctly the collision mesh looks purple in Nifskope.
