Well I just started playing this because my neighbours were, I guess they kind of dragged me into it. Iti's free of charge to play, but you have to transfer real money into your character's inventory to buy stuff. Right now I'm just trying to level up by killing overgrown guinea pigs, basically.

Might try out Guild wars, since it's totally free.

I'll tell you what anyone else who's played it could tell you. It's fun... but gets old REALLY fast.
 
People actually making money with this game. Some australia player pay USD 25,000 to buy an island and tax other players who hunt/mine on his land... :shock:
 
I heard a guy paid 75,000 USD for a space station, complete with living space, hunting grounds and recreational areas, and that he has already made it back!
 
I have been out of it for awhile,so this is the first I have heard of this. Your saying that you can make money off of this game? Fantastic! Forget a job. Just go spend a little money on a game and make it all back. Wow.
 
It is just a pyramid scheme. Hundreds of people put in money to train, fight, mine etc. Then they discover it is a pretty sub par game, and all they have been doing is feeding land owners their cash.
