As some of you might have noticed, there's a thread in the gaming forum about a big sale on a site called Play.com, which usually sells cheaper than average games and DVDs. Well, one of the items is the first season of Punk'd, on DVD. AS I grew up without MTV, I have no idea if Punk'd is good or not. I've only seen a couple of pranks, one against Jessica Alba and one against Justin Timberlake, but I'm not sure if I like it. Any reviews/comments?

I got a Jackass DVD box cheap too, from the same site.

I'm deciding between this and the Kenny vs Spenny DVD. I probably won't get both, despite a truckload of christmas and b-day money.

the first season was decent but it really get's old after awhile. the majority of the pranks are just lame. Do yourself a favor and just buy the Jackass Box Set.
 
I already bought Jackass and it's on its way. I'll get Kenny vs Spenny too. To anyone who doesn't know that, I suggest you check it out. Especially the "Who can ride a cow the longest?" episode.
 
oops.. didnt see in your post where you already bought Jackass. Another great show that isnt too mainstream is 'Curb Your Enthusiasim' on HBO. Those are great DVD buys.
 
Jackass is pure brilliance. Punk'd should be avoided at all costs: after a while it gets downright malicious and crude.
 
I've already seen most "Curb your enthusiasm" episodes. Some are just too embarassing, too.

I think I'll just rent Punk'd instead.
 
Jackass is the kind of show you only watch to point out how stupid it is.

Or to laugha at while drunk.
