Hello everyone,
I have just recently finished playing Fallout 1 yet again. I have played the game countless times which made me realize something...I really lack creativity. All my builds have been very similar. The aforementioned run was with a pistoleer (one hander trait) build but meh...still the same stuff 10 mm smg and .223.
So to get to the point. I have noticed that mutants equipped with flamers were dealing quite unhealthy loads of damage to me as opposed to pretty much anyone else who could barely scratch me.
So I thought I'd try a pyromaniac build rocking a flamer myself. My questin is about general viability. Will there be enough ammo ( I'm a proud owner of both Fallout 1 and 2 ) I figured it would be more viable in FO2 since you can get the upgrade for both the flamer and the fuel but am unsure about the general mechanics, For example how does the damage resistence bonus/nerf on the ammo type work or how noticable is it?
I'd appreciate any knowledge you can throw my way.
Thanks.
