question about barter and party members

if the flag barter is set to no,that mean the player cant give items to them when they are in the party?

edit : im guessing yes,but i want to sure

I'm pretty sure that once you set the barter flag to 'no', you will not be able to trade with them regardless of whether they are in your party or not.
