Question about screenshots

First time out of the vault
I have a question about taking screenshots. I glanced at the readme but didn't see any "special" commands, but I lost my manual so I didn't check that.. Anyways, print screen and pasting ruins the image.. i think it is some kinda color pallette problem.

Does anyone know how to take sucessful screen shots?

P.S. Sorry if this has been answered before..I did a forum search and didn't find anything..excuse my n00bdum

People dont know, like me ;) I have never used the screenshot feature, but generaly in games when taking a screenshot you shouldnt need to load a palette afterwards as it is taking a shot of what is on the screen not the file it is displaying. But if you want you can email me a copy of the image you save and I will take look at the palettes for you.

I thought it was mentioned in-game. Anyways, to take screenshots for Fallout 1&2, hit F12, they'll be saved in the same folder as the game.

The problems is that if you are a deathclaw your big clawry fingers are to big and you end up mashing the keyboard :) instead

Thanks a lot! Yeah, I seem to remember there was a way and just the fact that websites POST screenshots seemed to signal that it was possible. I will post my project I needed them for later. When/where do they mention it in game?

That's just the start of it, too! I heard of a guy who was a deathclaw who flipped out and killed his entire neighbourhood. It was totally sweet.

Er... screenshots? I took one once, worked perfectly.

Jee, searching the forum really helps. I had the same problem... but thanks everybody for solving my problem before I told you guys what it was :P

Well, thank you. :) This forum has been around long enough so most questions should have been archived into a good database, one in which we're putting together for a full technical support FAQ knowledge base.

Aside from these forums, for topics older than ~2002, you can try the forums that were converted from the old DCForum boards (the Archived Boards link in the header of the forum system), which may contain a few converted threads from the WebBBS system we used back at the beginnings of this site.

*apoplectic rant about gravedigging suspended since Rosh apparently didn't see fit to and then who am I to etc. etc.*

*goes to read old posts by self*
