Gay Wolf

First time out of the vault
Just installed it about an hour ago, started playing, get to Klamath with no problems. Finally I reach the Den and go to the gangster chick who asks you to find out whats in the boxes Metzger's men are guarding. I go the the East Side and then try going back to the West Side, and wouldn't you know it, game crashes :x . Now I know people say that its too buggy, but why the hell would the wonderful people at NMA put this hunk of shit on their page if they never tested it? Anyways, I'll keep the patch in a seperate folder and use v1.02 untill somebody helps me fix this, or just makes a new patch entirely... :?

Grey Wolf, you could read the news on the development of the patch on this forum, where you should have posted in the first place.

I figured my problem was gameplay related, since I put the patch in correctly and it worked off the begining. I read the ReadMe, checked it again and again.. Made a backup of the files I was replacing. Standard for any patch I download. I mean I have done this before, for games like Diablo II, Baldur's Gate, ect. But, strangely enough I still wonder why people who put downloads on their website don't actually check it for these types of...problems. And yes, I read all the threads related to v1.04 and still no help. So, I'll wait untill that dude makes a new patch.

We warned everyone about it, but you do have a point on the necessity of testing, we actually thought it had passed through testing and it wasn`t.

I`ll remove it now.

I diden't mean to make anybody at NMA look stupid, but in the past, most sites I come across wont allow people to submit programs to be realeased to the general public until they are tested over and over. If Locutus wants, I'll be happy to check every nook and cranny of his patches, cause I've heard it many times from my friends that I am one of the most anal gamers, and I HAVE to find everything and do every quest lol  .

Although tempting, I really dident want to edit his patch cause some makers get really offended if you change it, I mean I would too. If Locutus has presented the patch "as is", then I'll just have to wait, but thanks anyways for your time.
