Question using the fallout mapper

First time out of the vault
Hello to all, I recently started playing around with the fallout 2 mapper from interplay but I ran into a snag. I changed the artemple map into a random city encounter but when I exit the map, I'm still next to Arroyo on the worldmap. I wanted to exit somewhere around New Reno but I don't know how to edit that. Is that a mod-able thing and if so how is it done?
