First time out of the vault
Isn't the way Enclave troopers stay 'pure' from radiation etc when out in the field the wearing of Power Armor? Since lack of mutations in their populations is so important. Yet you can see plenty of troops with Combat/Leather or no armor at all (scientists) in the topside zone. Do they all have RadX drip-bags or something? Or are going to be killed by the FEV anyway if they're too radiated by the time the release happens?

I never noticed this till you pointed it out, the FEV might have been diluted somehow and it's effects are not as instant as in the Vat's or they may have invented a vaccination for it that work's kind of like the mad doctor in NCR but they have made it work. As for the radiation I don't have a clue, maybe they are limited to how much time they can spend topside or as mirdza said they may have to breath Rad-Away or take it every few hours or something.

When you talk the scientist in the Enclave into releasing FEV into the oil rig's air vent system, he injects you the antidote, so the troops and scientists in Navarro would have probably used the same method to aviod getting killed by FEV.

@ mr. pastorius, thank's for that I plane forgot about that dude I skipped that part last time I played just could not be bothered to use him.

Yer, most probably. The alternative would be that they were simply disposable humans, but that would have been pretty stupid. Unless they were stationed there before the antitode was developed.

I think most of them were disposable, how much would it cost to provide the entire staff with the antidote? The majority of those stationed at Navarro were locals from the wastes doing grunt work. Most of which had no real clue as to what the Enclave was really up to. Its like think of all the shit the Govt has done that we hear about decades later when all the people involved are either dead or retired. The Enclave is no exception.
