Questions that i had for a long time.

First time out of the vault
Ok a long time ago i got Fallout 2 and through that time i beat it about a hundred times, but always these questions pop up.

1. What is the weak point(or weapon) of a Floater? Usually a human or anything else will get critically obliterated by a shot to the eyes, but nothing works on these guys, and its pissing me off since i have to buy a million antidotes to counter their poison.

2. Where is the basement to find pretty boy Loyd(i think that's his name) in New Reno?

3. Is there any way to fix this crazy color thing that keeps happening when i start the game( i can usually fix it by going to desktop and back to the game, but not every single time it works) i checked other posts but they did not help.

4. Is there any way to stop people from seeing you as a slaver, or to still get Marcus on your side even if you are one?

Well that most of my questions, i checked other post and threads and even the wiki but they didn't help.

The 'ganglion' seems to work for me. Anything to drop them down so Sulik can have a go with the Super Sledge.
To be honest, poison never ever bothered me. It hardly ever happened in the first place, and when it did, my guy would just sleep it off ;)

It's under the 'Desperado' casino. You may or may not have to speak to the girl operating the roulette table at Salvatore's pad.
To get to the basement, use the same set of stairs as you would to go upstairs, just click on the part going downstairs, further towards the back wall. He's behind a locked door hiding behind some water pumps.

I had a similar thing happen in Fallout 1. Fixed it with a screen-refreshing utility that runs in the background. There's a version for both Fallout 1 and fallout 2 that you can download from this site [French], and even though it's meant to fix the black screen issue, I think it will help with your crazy colours as well.

AFAIK, no. I never played as a slaver, but don't you get a tattoo when you join them? Would be hard to hide that. I also heard that you can get that tattoo removed, but that might only be part of the Restoration Project, or not even true at all :D

They're vulnerable to fire damage, in case you always keep a Flamethrower to hand.
 
That's true, I remember a good bit of flame would do wonders. Just click the link in Per's signature to get answers to pretty much anything.

Per has the best guides. Helped me a quite a bit kept from ditching FO1 from reasons of "what the fuck is this noise". Thanks Per!
