Gunslinger
Mildly Dipped
I've been playing Fallout 1 again (my eleventh time, I think) and I've stubbled across a simple but useful tip early on. I have yet seen it in most of the guides so I'll post it here for anyone to update.
In Vault 15, on the second level, there's a hunting rifle in the closest room to the elevator. It's in the corner of the "bathroom" area of the room and you have to highlight it so it will show up. I knew there was a reason for those. 223 FMJ rounds laying around . Anyway, the hunting rifle is an absolute godsend so earlier in the game with a weak combating fighter.
Well, I'm sure there's people who already know this but I'm posting this so someone might put it in an official guide (Per, perhaps?). I can't believe I played Fallout 11 times, excruciatingly fighting off cave rats with a knife, when I could have blasted them away with a hunting rifle. There's always a suprise left. This game never ceases to amaze me.
