I don't know if you guys are doing freeform roleplays anymore, but if you are, I figure I'll set one up.
Gist of it is a forty-eight hour confrontation that begins with a convoy of three trucks running into the Arizona town of Wheal's Hill. These trucks are owned by a desperate terrorist gang known as the Grey Coalition; their intent is to drive the trucks into the town, make their demands for money from the town, and then when the town has given it up, escape and blow the two trucks they have fitted with explosives up by remote.
At the same time, a fanatical cult leader by the name of Ezekiel Light has taken residence in the old Mayoral House with the members of his small following. He has been making a play for power in the town, trying to show the sheriff and de facto leader of the town as an incompetent and using another as a figurehead. The arrival of the Grey Coalition is timely for his designs, but he still needs to figure out how to save the town.
The sheriff is convinced that the Grey Coalition has come at the behest of Light's cult and is determined to shut him down; he feels that the net is closing in and he has to get rid of this threat soon. He knows that support for him has been waning, but if he can handle this situation, he can effect a return to stability.
So there are three camps: The Town of Wheal's Hill, Light's Cult, and the Grey Coalition. I'll of course play Ezekiel Light, but I still need one leader for each group:
We will start the night before the trucks arrive, which is when preparations are being made. The trucks will roll in in the morning. Then the roleplay will go approximately two days (in game time), although it can be drawn out as events unfold.
I'll add more (locations, etc.) to this thread later.

- Light's Cult - The Figurehead: A person who has some respect in the town as a shop owner and is only known as an associate of Light in a cursory way; as far as the town knows, they really aren't a member of Light's followers, though they have defended him before.
- The Town - The Sheriff: A rough-and-tumble sort that has clearly put the safety and stability of the town as top priority. Not exactly eager for action, but willing to do what it takes, even if a few have to die.
- Grey Coalition - The Leader: A desperate, by some accounts crazy type who is obsessed with blowing things up to create chaos, which would bring about the desired anarchy. Needs to make this siege work because it's the last ditch; after this, there's no more money, which means no more explosives.
