* good in my opinion

How to choose the location
throw a dart at a map of North America, then find a more detailed map of where the dart landed, then throw two darts at the more detailed map and draw a cross on both of the darts, in the area enclosed by the lines is where the location where be.

How to make the map less planed
take a mapper, give him/her a computer and a bed, then lock them in a sound proof room with no contact to the outside world, then tell them "I want a town like *insert town named here*." get detailed map from above and throw darts labeled with town names at the map, where ever the darts land is where the towns will be.

Story line I'd like to see
It takes place a couple years after the great war and your hometown (sort of like a Junktown kind of town) is trying to rebuild or trying to build a better world for themselves. You know how in FO1 if you had a high lock pick skill you'd get a set of lockpicks? Well in FOwhatever you're first quest would be decided on your skills, if you have a high barter or speech skill you'd be a trader and get two NPCs to help you get to a town a few squares away. But if you have a high small guns or outdoorsman skill you become a scout and one NPC and you'd go a few squares north to find a town a few merchants told you about. But if you have a high lockpick, sneak or steal skill you'd get a dog NPC and a quest to spy on a raider out post a few squares south and see if they pose a problem. You can see where this is going, whatever your highest skill is you quest would involve it. That's as far as I'm setting the story line because I don't think the entire game should revolve around it, each town should have it's own story line and shouldn't involve any other town (VaultCity and Gecko story lines broke up in the end, "VaultCity needed power so they take over Geckos Power plant, Geckos power plant was fixed and the ghouls lived happy lives.").

That's all I can straighten out right now I might put more out later.
