First time out of the vault
Hi,
I just bought Fallout 1 (I have XP SP1), having played part 2 recently. Instillation went fine, updated to 1.1 just fine. Game loads fine. But when I start fighting the rats outside the vault...the game crashes. They get one hit on me and some strange symbols show up in the combat log, and the game crashes when they try to hit me again. And the worst part is, my screen goes black and I can't alt-tab to see what the error is. Any idea what's going on or how I can go about fixing this? Oh, and I tried all the stuff on the sticky to no avail.
