hi! I've just completed my ongoing pixel art project, and now when all the pleasantries seems to be concluded, here she is in her full glory:

you will need to zoom it in to see what it's all about. handpixeled of course, like folks on the old demoscene would do.

worked out of this old and pretty shitty-drawn Boyarsky's(?) concept.

After going through the WIP thread, I've got to say I'm thoroughly impressed. The jacket is definitely a huge step from the original sketch.

Back on topic - really nice work man! I'd love to see more! Some of the more obscure but awesome characters that we don't have faces for except for in concept art. Tycho, Lars, Smitty ... those sorts of interesting folk!

I like the original piece, that's it. there's *potential* in it, as well as in the rest of the sketches.

thanks a lot! I think I may do more, though probably on a different medium this time. pixel art is pretty time-consuming and it produces art that could be achieved using less complex techniques way quicker. nothing matches its quality, though. . . but that's a different story!
