Readme in Fallout 1's child patch...

Hello there dudes. I downloaded the Fallout 1 child patch and wondered if you could clear something up for me. The readme in the ZIP file states it reintroduces kids into the UK 1.2 version of the game, but the only patch out there is 1.1. The only way I know to get v1.2 is by purchasing either Fallout Radioactive or the Fallout UC - does this mean I can't use the fix on my v1.1 game?

I thought the deal was that the only time you need the 1.1 patch is if you've got a 1.0 cd, which means you've got the US version - ergo no need for the children patch.

Oops, I didn't know that. See, I haven't played Fallout in a while and I don't have it with me, but I'm building up for when I get home again so I can play it straight away. So the UK release is v1.1? I don't remember there ever being kids in it though (if there are, where? - jog my memory), only Fallout 2 with the child patch. How come you can put kids in Fallout v1.2?

It's a little bit trickier than for Fo2; the patch includes a US exe file in addition to the graphics, basically turning your game into the US version (my version number still shows 1.2 though).
