Real time or turn based?

First time out of the vault
Ive owned this game a couple of years now and while I really enjoy it, I do find it a bit of a long hard slog.
This time, I`m playing it in real time. No turn based play, no pre planning of strategic attacks based around the knowledge that you can always use a stimpak when your intestines are being closely examined by a deathclaw and her brood.
Anyways... my question is this...
If I`m finding it REALLY tough at Quincy saving hostages in a "tactics" based game using real time play... is it worth me carrying on?
Or am I best going back to what I know best?

Thanks :D

Realtime is more likley to work better since thats what the game was desigend for. The people who made Craptics fucked up the turnbased pretty bad.

Just make sure all weapons arnt on burst mode and youll be allright, since if they are on burst theyll kill hostages too.

Im realtime, just make sure to move slow, and pause often and when needed.

Ummm, Psycho...this guy kind of fukkered himself up real good in this thread and I don't think he'll be coming back...
