White Knight
Water Chip? Been There, Done That

Chapter 1:Fucking New Guy
Ellen walked through the empty mettallic corridor in Raven Rock. Beads of sweat dripped from her forehead. The Reapers of Eden's motto was Victoria aut Nex. Her friends had often joked saying it was Latin for batshit crazy, but she knew what it really meant. Victory or Death. This showed what the Reapers were. Where pre-war America had the green berets, navy SEALs, Black Ops, the enclave had the Reapers of Eden. They had broken the back of a small supermutant army that had tried to attack Raven Rock. It was they who had launched a succesful mission to destroy all pre-war automated anti-air weapons left to protect washington, giving the enclave an aerial foothold. They had never taken a casualty since its formation in 2275, until now. Their heavy weapons specialist, to all normal soldiers known as Reaper 5, had been KIA by a behemoth when they attempted to take the jefferson memorial. Normally this would've been new to the Reapers and might've taken them down a peg, had Reaper 5 not killed 30 of the 'Frankensteins' before dying. He came up to the door. On the door was a brass label saying,'Reapers HQ'. She knocked on the door, nervous as she had never been before, and entered.
The 'HQ' was a short corridor, with 2 doors on either side, and 1 at the end. She headed towards the one at the end. The label said 'Cpt. Williams'. She pressed the button next to it and entered. She walked up to the table, snapped to attention and saluted the officer sitting at the table. Next to him was a soldier in full advanced power armour. The officer looked up and said,"Ah, welcome Lieutenant. I'm Captain Williams, as I'm sure you know, and this is Corporal White. From now on you will adress us as Reaper 1 and 2 respectively. You have been selected for your tactical flexibility in the field, a trait that isn't common with most officers. Normally we wouldn't need a replacement, nor would we want one, but due to our new role we must select somebody. We are building up to an attack on Brotherhood of Steel. Now that we have project purity, we can set up a foothold across the river from the Pentagon, where they are located. However, most field officers are out in the field, perfecting a new project to help us. So all Reapers are now assigned to squad leadership, and will conduct several operations in attacking the Brotherhood. You will recieve your squad and orders tomorrow. Dimissed."
Ellen saluted, and turned around. Just then, Captain Williams said,"Oh, I must make a point to you. All of the reapers are NCOs, but do assume you have any authority over them. Ranks do not count here, and they have the seniority here. Several Officers outside the reapers have tried to order them around, ending with them being beaten severely by Reaper 2."
Corporal White stood still and said nothing. Ellen felt there was something wrong about that man. All the Reapers were elite, but White was different. He was cold, calculating in his actions, and outside the Reapers he was feared for being brutal in his punishments, one of which included leading a 'suicide squad' on missions that only he returned from. Needless to say, he had earned the hatred of many soldiers, even some officers, and couldn't care less. He looked at Williams, nodded and said,"Understood, sir."
She left and walked over to her quarters, her new designation 'Reaper 5' on the door. She opened the door, and sat down on her bed. She lay back and relaxed. The reapers really were batshit crazy if they planned to run several operations with only 3 NCOs and 2 Officers, and now she was one of them. She sighed, and closed her eyes, entering a hazed world of sleep.
