Reavers not showing up.

First time out of the vault
I can't see any of the reavers I can shoot at them but they dont shoot back and they are invisible but my characters on agressive can still fire at them. Normally I wouldnt care because theres not a whole lot of reaver missions but I can't loot them either and it will be a little hard on the reaver commander mission. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?



P.S: I have just recently started playing FOT again and I have no idea where disk 4 is or if any of the other disks work so I don't think I can reinstall it.
 
There is no disc 4. Or to put it another way you only need 3 discs for installation the fourth was a bonus disc if you pre-ordered the game and it has nothing to do with re-installing.

As to your problem check your core folder spr-character_D.bos is either missing or corrupted, it should be 40,717 kb. Try doing a manual install, or repairing the file with winrar. Otherwise you can download a fixed version of the reaver male sprite from The Radiated Society, which has been fixed by Dak to be able to fire the rocket launcher while standing up.

We can't help you with the reaver female, file requests aren't allowed at NMA so don't even ask.
 
How would i go about it repairing it with Winrar?



Edit: I just looked in the core folder and that file isnt there.
 
I get similar things when raiders disappear after killing them with an automatic weapon (e.g. the riddled death sprite), but ususally there is nothing to it. Restarting my computer fixes the problem for me.
 
yeah this sucks.. I tried reinstalling the game and I keep getting crazy error messages.. I tried downloading the patch but it gives me a new error message.
 
I have the same issue as the first post except my problem deals with the animals... so far i noted missing:

Cockroaches
Scorpians
Large cockroaches
the wolfs/dogs
Baby deathclaws
That boss creature in the underground base with that tribe ontop of it.
ect..

Brahmn and adult death claws seems to be visable. all above mentioned (plus maybe 1-3 more i forgot) are invisable, but like mentioned i am able to kill them if i let my men automaticly shoot at them by end combat constantly or putting them on real time gameplay.

Any fixes or ideas how to fix??
anyone know which file(s) this would be relating to?

and i did try reinstall and the usual crap. Thanks
 
I found out what file i'm missing.. "spr-critter_ABCDE.bos" i compared it to a site that listed all files that should be installed and that was missing, i only have the "spr-critter_0.bos" which only has 3 creatures (the ones mentioned).

now to find a way to aquire the file... i wont bother asking since someone said file requests are not allowed. but if there any suggestions or fixes anyone could suggest i;d be happy to try.
