Removing time limit from Fallout 1?

I really want to play the game without the time limit (I think it's 500 game hours), and I read somewhere that u can remove the time limit from the game.
Can someone tell me how to do that?

Im fairly certain that the time limit for the Supermutant invasion is removed if you patch to 1.1 or 1.2. At least, thats what I've been led to believe.

And im fairly sure its 500 game days starting from the beginning of a new game.

If thats what you mean, then the patches 1.1 or 1.2 (UK release) should do the trick.
