Dennis Leary's show on FX returns for a second season. This is easily my favorite show on Television however hardley anyone I talk has seen it. Has anyone here seen it? If you haven't do yourself a favor and check it out.

Dennis Leary is 'Tommy' a NYC firefighter the show follows his life and the lives of his fellow firefighters. After 9/11 Tommy tries to mend his relationship with his wife and family, he battles alcoholism, and occasionally sees dead people including his best friend/ cousin who died in the 9/11 attack. It's a serious drama show but at the same time its hilarious. The first season was amazing and it's out on DVD. Season 2 just premeired last tuesday and it was great.

Yeah, it really juggles the drama/dark comedy thing well. On the premiere, Leary stops in front of Ground Zero, where people are selling cookies decorated with the image of the Twin Towers. He's drunk, with a bottle of whiskey in his hand, and proceeds to kick over the tables and fling 9/11 cookies at people, screaming about his fallen comrades and his shitty life. Cops come to arrest him and he responds "hey dude, didn't you know they don't have any policeman cookies!"
