...in theory..
Thing is i recived some tools for fallout video palletes from one of our forum members, and it turns out that the pallete file is not only responsible for color scheme but also for the resolution of the video image both horizontal and vertical.
thing is the app to generate the file is old, it's 16 bit or less *and* it is a "demo" version with the limitation of the demo beeing maximum resolution cap of 640x480. So this clearly states that .MVE has no resolution cap, it's the demo version of the pallete file generator that limits the .MVE resolution to 640x480.
If it is so, then perhaps the pallete application could be cracked, or even better dissasembled in IDA and written anew for NT system possibly working on a x64bit system. with the higher resolutions enabled ABel tool would *probably* proove useless as it has limitation of 640x480 as well, however the Interplay's tool to generate MVE from a series of TGA images could in theory yeald higher resolution motion picture in MVE format..

what You guys think..
P.S.
the palette tools i aquired were seposedly used by Interplay for generating original games motion pictures in MVE. so based on this i conclude the 640x480 limit is artificial..
