Rope in Glow can be burnt?

I've heard that if you leave Ian in the Glow, then return to the surface and use lighter on the rope, it'll burn and Ian will shout "You bastard!" and then will die.

Has anyone heard of it?

PS I'm sure it's untruth.

Nope, never heard about it.. Tho I remember once leaving Ian in Hub and returned after a while - the fucker attacked me for no apparent reason

thats because you always play as an eeeevil character, one time I left him at the BOS, when I returned he said something like "I might not be as well as before but I'm good enoguh to bes the likes of you!" he attacked, I blew his head of...or was it arms...cant remember
