Russian hackers hack Microsoft!

Check it out, Microsoft has been hacked by hackers in St. Petersburg, Russia, stealing source code to some of their programs.

Go Russia! Hopefully they'll release the source code somewhere and it will perpetuate around the internet infinitely like DeCSS.

If they stole the WinME source code, maybe someone can make a better version of it, or even better, an extremely good emulator for Unix!

Heh, I laughed my ass of when I heard about this, and I wish they had've succeeded in getting a lot, but it seems that they didn't manage to get a whole lot, they didn't get the entire source code to anything, they pretty much only got sections, which does open up some certain possibilities, but as to the matter of getting entire source codes, they didn,t succeed.... damn

From what I heard, they cracked the algorithm which generates their passwords, so they can fairly easily get back in. It's sorta the same as when during WW2 the british cracked the Enigma.

I could be wrong though.
