Safe Place To Stash Things In Honest Hearts?

Ceph

First time out of the vault
I am about to finish up the the main quest and boy do I have a lot of crap! Anyway, my dilemma is how I am going to take it all back to the Mojave. Is there any safe places to stash items where they won't disappear in between trips between the Mojave and Zion? I ask because I have heard that items in containers tend to vanish when you leave Zion and come back, so I would like to know if there is a way around this.

Nothing prevent you store your shits at the three duffel bags in starting area. Then after complete the expansion and you leave the Zion, lug all of them with you and move to the cave. It wont extend the time at all, I tried.

The three duffel bags wont be erased after coming and going to Zion. AND the end-game footlocker.

I went back there once. I dont know who said it get respawned but all the containers that got checked by us earlier are still empty, no refilled. The few that has items I suspect I missed them during the 1st run.

EDIT: PCv140525

Follow the advice above, and stash everything in the duffle bags. Also check the Fallout Wiki, and try to find if the containers are 'safe' (don't respawn).

This is why I always mod in some sort of dimension door or bag of holding. Because I am a packrat and don't like hauling shit.

As it turns out the Desks in the Zion Ranger Station--which is what I was using as general storage during the DLC--is perfectly safe for storage when traveling between the Mojave and Zion. At least on XBox it is. This will be good to know for other playthroughs.

I can confirm that dead caravan chief body doesnt get erased coming and going. It's a good way to carry stuff, as dragging/throwing that corpse is faster than lugging all those loots from the three duffel bags?
