Savegame Converter, PART II

Hi there, found the other question, I have the same problem: "Can´t find Fallout 2 savegame".
The solution don´t work at my pc, or I´m to stupid to understand (hey, I´m german ;o) )
So perhaps if anyone could explain it to me as if I´m 3 yrs. old?! ;o) I have the german version, and I installed it at harddisk D:, not C:, is that a problem? The directory/path is d:\program files\BlackIsle\Fallout2\... PLS HELP!!!

Which version of Fallout you had before installing the patch?

If 1.1 then say bye bye to your saved games (or reinstall the game...)

If 1.0 the converter should work fine.

It should be version 1.0, but it didnt work.

Look, I have the german version too...
If you bought the game in the last weeks, it should be version 1.1 cause as at my knowledge version 1.0 does not exist anymore in the (german) shops...

Yes, thanx, you´re right. After (re-)installing the original version, I saw vers. 1.1, so the problem is cleared. (or not, if I think about the bugs...)
