I know that on normal difficulty level, it takes a Science skill of about 125% to successfully retrieve the cybernetic brain in Sierra Army Depot. If one's char isn't this good at science, or one just doesn't want to use that many skillpoints, is there a way one can use Myron's leet Science skills to get the cybernetic brain?

Well you can boost your science with mentats. You only need 121% to get the brain. And no, there is no other way to do it.

You could also set your game difficulty to Easy to get a boost if you don't mind cheating a bit. I generally do this when I play on hard and don't feel like wasting several level's worth of skill points for one quest.

You can use Myron to do it!! If Myron's Science skill be more high than yours, he will run and do it to you!!! Like Vic, run to repair for you if your skills are too low in repair!!

Usually, you can. For example, if you were to use your science skill from your skilldex to find out what's wrong with the generator in Vault 15, Myron would run up and do it for you if you fail. However, since the situation here happens in dialogue mode, the game simply does a roll against your science skill to see if you can retrieve the brain successfully or not.

Or at least that's what I can remember, it's been a while since I've done this quest with Myron in my party.
