Scientist build for Fallout I

Pacal II

First time out of the vault
I've played both Fallout 2 and New Vegas and now I'm planning on playing Fallout 2. Usually I've tried to play a peacefull scientist, who resorts to violence only if necessary (self-defence). So this is more or less how it would go:
S:5 P:7 E:6 C:6 I:9 A:9 L:6

Can't decide between these: Energy weapons, speech, doctor, repair, science
Traits:
Gifted is probably a necessity. What could be the second one?
