Does anybody know of a way to save the trader. It didn't really give me any options and I had to kill him with some grenades. Then at the end of the mission they called me a murderer.

a way to kill someone is overloading him with tribal drugs and other shit, it will not place u in combat (i didnt play the mission so i dont know what exactly you're facing)

I don't think he means "murderer" in a bad way, maybe more as a "welcome to the club" sort of thing. Of course I never tried not killing him.
